For weeks Anthony has insisted on being a ghost. Grace did not want him to be one and tried many times to "help" him change his mind. He would not budge on the idea of being anything other than a ghost. So, here's the making of the ghost...
Bella Bumble Bee, Mommy's little honey bee.
Our white bunny, sometimes known as the Hare.
After church, Halloween morning, Anthony stated he no longer wanted to be a ghost. Now he wanted to be a car. He also wanted me to draw spiders on his face.
Our neighbor and her little pup stopped by, the kids love puppies. Bella knelt down to give it a little pet.
As soon as Daddy put out the candy, Bella sat down and started filling her bucket. Much easier than going door to door right?
waiting for the trick or treating to begin!
It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!
I was still in pain and not able to stand up very straight. So if I look uncomfortable, that's why!!

Anthony was talking about the car costume through out the day and how he wasn't going to be a ghost, Mom whispers into his little ear, "Hey Anthony, go put on your ghost costume and come out saying, "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" and surprise everyone!!" Anthony, skipping into the house, "OK mom!!"

I'm so glad that little idea worked because he was by far the cutest ghost, with his red husker sleeves sticking out and his brown sandals on his feet. He made a lot of people smile as he walked up to their door and got a lot of comments on how spooky he was. So, he played up the "oooooo" at times. I think people must have gotten a kick out of his costume, not because it was the best one but probably because it was the most old school one. Plus, look at the kid wearing it! We'll love these pictures for years and years to come!

They had so much fun and have been enjoying the endless streams of candy. Will that bucket ever seem like it's decreasing? Mom and baby will have to help, you know, we need those extra cals for labor and all! Daddy won't mind helping either! We have to finish the candy to get ready for Thanksgiving pie! (I have just spoken like a true Black! Oh my goodness!) Wow, gotta love the Holidays!!

Sooo cute! My favorite is them hanging on Daddy's leg. I remember doing that to my older brother Doug. I don't know why it's so fun, but it is!
The baby is beautiful !
